NT Blatt’s Xerox Series is a series of copy printed ISO A4 AESTHETICIZED MICRO INFORMATION BOOKLETS for everyone. Each booklet comes with a fold out 28.5x40cm xerox poster. The first out of six editions focuses on the Naoshima Elementary School building, Japanese architect Kazuhiro Ishii, as well as the essay “Architecture Without a Place” by Hiroyuki Suzuki. The building structure, Ishii’s first realized project, is placed in the center of Naoshima Island and was constructed in 1970, Suzukis text was originally published as part of the online publication “The Virtual Architecture” by the Tokyo University Digital Museum in 2000, all photos in this edition were taken in 2023.
